• There was no New Years Eve partying for the lawyers as they were busy all night putting together a last minute contract signing for HOW wrestler Holmes.  The contract will see him signed with the company until the end of March 2010 for an unknown amount.Also with his signing it has been learned that Holmes will replace Chris CK in the upcoming Best Invitational.  Right now we don't have a reason why CK has been pulled from the tourament, and we don't know what kind of impact this wi...

• Hall of Famer hurt..

• In what can only be labeled as a pure tragedy, only a few short hours ago after signing their brand new contract here in High Octane Wrestling, a Hall of Famer was involved in a car accident that claimed the life of a teenage boy here in Chicago. • HOW Hall of Famer Mark O'Neal has signed a new deal and will be looking to get back to action after being put on the shelf for a few months by fellow Hall of Famer and ICON Champion Maximillian Kael. Ethan Cavanaugh and Dawn McGill also signed new contracts today and both are signed thru March to Glory. • HOFer Hold Out..and more signings

• Graystone has requested 1800 per week which would make him the highest paid wrestler in HOW history but Mike Best pointed to his lackluster ICONIC performance as a reason to not agree to his counter offer and has instead stated that he will only offer the HOW Hall of Famer 1100 per week. In other news Kirsta Lewis and Christopher America have signed new contracts and these two are two of the big wildcards for 2010 as both have the potential to have long title runs.

• Early A.M Signings

• Brothers of the Beast, David Black, HOW Hall of Famer Chris Kostoff and High Octane Champion Aceldama all agreed to terms early this morning. In the case of Aceldama he agreed to the highest contract to date as he will earn 1550 dollars per week whereas Simon Sparrow and a few others will make 50 dollars less. Stay tuned as today should be a busy day in terms of wrapping up contracts.

• Tag Team Champs Signed

• After some heated negotiations between Mike Best and Scottywood after Mike Best offered the current GM only 750 dollars a week saw Scottywood counter asking for the same as HOFC champion Michael DeNucci with 1500 a week.  Best countered back with 1200 which The Hardcore Artist grudgingly accepted to officially let Twisted Reality continue in HOW till the end of 2010.  Oddly, the other half of the HOW Tag Team champions John Hitchin was not present for the negotiations or the signing...

• The ink is barely dry on a contract today that made former DREAM Champion 'MPlow' Mike Polowy an official member of the HOW roster. Insiders at High Octane Wrestling are said to be infuriated about the backdoor deal that made Polowy a part of the prestigious federation for the next three months. Polowy made a smash debut at December's ICONIC, attacking HOW Champion Aceldama with a loaded package and heating up tensions between usually friendly DREAM Wrestling and HOW.

• After the announcement that Mike Best has banned the later half of this past week's HOR which includes a ranting Scottywood, Krista Lewis and the more calm Max Kael and Erites, GM Scottywood has been rumored to be entertaining the idea of taking bribes from those who are interested in hearing the debacle that was the later half of the HOR.  No word on what the amount is he is looking for but it is heard it will go towards the getting the fuck off godaddy fund.

• January 1st Match!!

• It has just been confirmed by HOWrestling.com that Mike Best has booked Simon Sparrow vs. Chris CK on January 1st. The two will battle over Chris CK's future title shot contract and the match will be part of a very special broadcast to kick off the 2010 year for High Octane Wrestling and also to officially open up the Kallisten Coliseum. There will be no other matches on the show and only a certain amount of people will even be let in for the show. More details to come

• Howrestling.com has placed several phone calls to Mario Maurako's Cell phone since Thursday's Turmoil and there still hasn't been any sign of Mario. • HOWrestling.com can confirm that Mike Best has signed a new tag team called Damaged Goods. Here is a brief statment from Mike. "With Scottywood being named GM I have no choice but to assume that Twisted Reality might soon be out of action in terms of the tag team ranks so I am on a recruiting mission before ICONIC to bring more tag teams to HOW."
